After that first morning, a chambers mostly does these.
1. See who is in court
Open Court dates. The week is who is in court, at what time, and for which file. Press Print cause list for paper, or My court-day sheet for only your dates.
2. Write what happened in court
On Court dates, find the date that has passed and press Record. Write what happened. If there is another date, fill Next date, then press Record.
3. Keep the client's money apart
Open Payments in and press Record a payment. Under This money is, choose Client money held on account, then press Save.
4. Write a letter on the file
Open the file, then Documents, then Generate a letter. It is saved on the file, not on one person's computer.
5. Give the client their page
Open the file and press Make their page. Copy the link and send it through Nyocte. Words you type are saved on the file and sent through Nyocte.
6. Check a name before you open a file
Press New file, choose the client, then press Run conflict check. Read any file that already has that name before you press Create.
How to do the first things
Five steps, on the real program. A person, their file, the court date, a payment, then the rest of the office. Pause it and do the same thing in yours.
You have seen the first things. Open yours and do them.
