A law office

The rest of the office
- See who is in court
The week’s cause list for a chambers: who is in court, at what time, and for which file. Print it, and record what happened when you come back.
- Write the letter on the file
A fee agreement or a formal notice, written from the file and kept there, so the office can find it when the person who wrote it is in court.
- Check a name before you open a file
Before a new file is created, see whether that name is already a matter in the office. Read it, then decide.
