A law office
See who is in court
The date is in a notebook, or in someone’s memory. Open the office and the week is the list. Print it and take it. When you come back, write what happened, and the next date if there is one.

The rest of the office
- Keep the client’s money apart
Record a payment the day it arrives. Say whether it is the firm’s fee or money you are holding for the client. Cash, MTN MoMo, or Orange Money.
- Write the letter on the file
A fee agreement or a formal notice, written from the file and kept there, so the office can find it when the person who wrote it is in court.
- Check a name before you open a file
Before a new file is created, see whether that name is already a matter in the office. Read it, then decide.
